Premium ultra-low noise, high headroom analog mixer 2 state-of-the-art XENYX Mic Preamps comparable to stand-alone boutique preamps Studio-grade compressors. ![]() Presently you do not have a suitable, high Z guitar input. The NI KA6 would serve you well since you would have two mixer tracks on the line ins and then a choice of two more mic/ line/ instrument inputs. If you have no spare PCI slot your choice of PCIe cards is very limited but I have read goodness of both the ESI and the you could just buy a better usb AI and slam the mixer outs into the line inputs. The M-A 2496 is an old favourite and I can vouch for its solidity. I would eschew the usb part of the mixer and fit a decent soundcard in the PC. The situation is compounded by Win7 in that you need to delve deeply into the soundcard settings to get it to run stereo at 44.1kHz 16bits with a usb audio device such as the Berry. ![]() Click to expand.I am not familiar with Studio One but note that originates from the Cubase stable? So like Cubase it is probably fussy about usb AIs with generic drivers and it is possible that you will need to use ASIO4ALL to make things work as they should. ![]()
